Update - House Fire - Denman Prospect

ACT Fire & Rescue have extinguished the house fire on Coaldrake Avenue, Denman Prospect.

Firefighters were alerted to the fire at approximately 3:15pm by multiple calls to Triple Zero (000).

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Local road closures will remain in place while emergency services are on scene.

Three fire trucks and 15 firefighters are working to extinguish the fire that has engulfed both levels of the two-storey house.

Local road closures are in place. The community is asked to avoid the area.
