Due to the Public Health Emergency in the ACT in response to COVID-19, we will not be booking any community engagement activities at this time. We are closely following the advice from ACT Health and will reinstate community engagement as soon as it is safe to do so.

The ACTF&R understands the need for regular and consistent training for all CFU members. There are several training options which a CFU member can participate in:
- CFU Induction (new members) and Refresher Training at ESA Training Centre, Hume [PDF 347 KB]
- CFU Training with an ACTF&R operational Pumper crews
- CFU Training within their Unit and/or with another CFU
As per Standards & Protocols for CFU (2017), CFU members are required to complete a minimum of one (1) CFU Training Activity annually.
