Structure Fire - Downer

ACT Ambulance Service and ACT Policing have left the scene of the residential fire at Banfield Street, Downer.

The fire was contained to one house. The cause of the fire was accidental.

Banfield Street has now been reopened.

ACT Fire & Rescue will remain at the scene throughout the night.

ACTF&R, ACT Ambulance Service (ACTAS) and ACT Policing remain on scene.

The cause of the fire is currently being investigated.

One occupant was treated by ACTAS at the scene.

Banfield Street remains closed.

The community is asked to avoid the area.
