Update 7:52 PM: A severe thunderstorm likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding has been detected and is forecast to impact Hall by 8:45 pm.

Published 7:06 PM: The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for heavy rainfall.
The ACT State Emergency Service advises the community to:
- Move your car under cover and away from trees;
- Secure or put away loose items;
- Keep at least 8 metres away from fallen power lines;
- Stay indoors away from windows;
- Never drive, walk or ride through floodwater.
