Grass Fire - Higgins

The grass fire on the southern side of Drake-Brockman Drive has been contained. ACT Fire & Rescue will be departing shortly and ACT Rural Fire Service will remain on scene to monitor the situation. Community members in the area can expect to see smoke for some time.

ACT Fire & Rescue and ACT Rural Fire Service are currently on scene at a grass fire on Drake-Brockman Drive, near the intersection of Trickett Street.

The community is advised to avoid the area. Update to follow.
