85 children, parents and carers have evacuated from the ANU Preschool and Child Care Centre.
At approximately 1:45pm, ACT Fire & Rescue arrived on scene to find a small amount of smoke coming from an aquarium. All occupants are safe and accounted for.
Crews have removed a small amount of smoldering tanbark from the area and the building is now in the process of being reoccupied.
