The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for the ACT region.
Warning for large hailstones, heavy rainfall and damaging winds which may lead to flash flooding over the next several hours.
The ACT State Emergency Service advises to:
- Move indoors, bringing children and pets with you.
- Park your car under secure cover and away from trees, power lines and drains.
- Secure or put away items from around the house, yard, or balcony that could blow around in strong winds.
- Check to see if your neighbours are aware of the warning.
