Storm and Flood Assistance
Crews worked for several hours last night suppressing the rubbish fire in West Belconnen with assistance from the site owner, who helped by breaking up the rubbish piles with a dozer. Crews were able to extinguish the fire shortly after 1:00am this morning.
The site will be patrolled throughout the day by two Fire & Rescue CAFS tankers.
