House fire - Garran

Firefighters have extinguished a small fire in a garage at a house in Garran.

Crews responded quickly, saving the homeowners personal belongings.

Only minor damage to the garage is reported.

A Hazardous Materials crew is currently ventilating the area.

ACT Fire & Rescue was alerted to the emergency at 6.02pm.
