Storm and Flood Assistance
ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) has received three calls for help today following the wet and windy weather. Minor damage reported with a blocked drain, tree across a road and a leaking roof.
The ACTSES would like to remind the community that the Bureau of Meteorology has a Severe Weather Warning in place for the ACT and surrounding region with strong winds expected and the chance of high winds around 64km/h overnight that could impact on urban areas of the ACT.
Residents who need storm or flood assistance can call the ACTSES on 132-500.
