03/07/09 - ACT SES to compete in NavShield Competition
The ACT State Emergency Service today sent a team of 18 volunteers to compete in the annual NavShield competition in the Blue Mountains.
Teams from across Australia will practice navigation and bushwalking skills against other emergency services.

02/07/09 - Review of the ACT Strategic Bushfire Management Plan
The complete set of maps to be included in the Exposure Draft of ACT Strategic Bushfire Management Plan (SBMP) have been completed and are now available.
The Exposure Draft was released in April 2009 as part of the formal review of the SBMP.
