Response Standards
The ACT Fire Brigade is a component of the ACT Emergency Services Agency.
The ACT Fire Brigade standard of emergency response is as follows:
- The ACT Fire Brigade's aim in suburban areas is for the first firefighting appliance to arrive at the scene within 10 minutes of a call being received; and
- The ACT Fire Brigade will try to confine structural fires to the room of origin.
