The ACT Fire Brigade is one of the most versatile Fire services in Australia in terms of delivery of services to the community.
All firefighters in the ACT are fully trained in all areas of firefighting, rescue and hazardous materials handling. We provide a 24/7 rapid response capability from nine strategically located Fire Stations.
Basic Home Fire Safety Training Materials
Basic home fire safety information  is now included in the qualifications for a range of community services workers.
The lesson materials for this have been centrally developed to ensure their application and use in all states and territories. In addition to their use in formal training the material is also recommended for use by community agencies in staff induction for new workers and skills maintenance for existing workers.
